Mercan Dede and Mira Burke
Had the fortunate and rare opportunity to see Mercan Dede's electro dervish show this wknd at Trinity-St. Paul's on Bloor. Mercan's world renowned sufi music was accompanied by whirling dancer Mira Burke, in a mesmerizing, unforgettable display of grace, coordination and spirituality. See pix from Flickr.
